48-hour Capital bandh from June 7

Itanagar: The All-Nyishi Youth Council, Arunachal Pradesh Abo-Tani Clans Youth Organization and the All Arunachal Pradesh Youth Forum have decided to call a 48-hour state capital bandh from June 7 in protest against the non-fulfillment of their charter of demands by the state government.

Their demands include immediate enhancement of the age criteria for APST and OBC candidate from 21 years to 35 years in APPSCCE, immediate summon to the editors who used derogatory word ‘Dafla’ and ‘Hill Miri’ in place of Nyishi in the latest edition of General Knowledge and demanded for their appearance before the local court for Nyishi.

They also demanded an immediate cancellation of all illegal land allotment to the non APST, sources said. (UNI)
