SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong FC central defender and former captain Aibor Khongjee has decided to join Kolkata giants Mohan Bagan ahead of the upcoming season.

Khongjee had been sidelined from the team following differences with SLFC coach Pradhyum Reddy during the last edition of the I-League.

Khongjee would be the second local player to play for top clubs of the country after Rokus Lamare who plays for Salgoacar, Goa.
