World Blood Donor Day 2012
The Meghalaya AIDS control society in collaboration with Meghalaya state legislators on HIV and AIDS, Meghalaya state transfusion council and licensed blood banks of Meghalaya will observe the world blood donor day 2012 on Thursday at Anton Hall, Laitumkhrah from 10am onwards.
1st Zonal Koch Conference
The Meghalaya Koch Association Khasi Hills Zone organized the 1st Zonal Koch conference recently at Pataghat (Hat Mawdon) village in East Khasi Hills wherein EKH deputy commissioner Sanjay Goyal was present as the chief guest.
New office bearers
The central government (civil) pensioners’ association has elected new office bearers for the year 2012-13 which includes AB Paul as the president, TK Bhattacharjee as the vice president, Abhijit Roy Chudhury as the secretary besides others.
