Silchar: Technology has created infinite opportunities with almost anyone being able to involve himself in any developmental activity, according to Solar Energy Commission chairman Dr Anil Kakodkar. “Technology has changed our lives up to a level of infinity and nowadays with the help of technology we can do anything we like which we could not even think of a few years back”, Kakodar said at the 10th Convocation of the National Institute of Technology, Silchar on sunday. The North East is very rich in natural resources and this should be utilised properly with due use of technology for developmental work, he said. India has already achieved a good place in the world economic scenario and “now is the actual time to involve the young in research and discovery so that the country can reach the pinnacle in the world of science and technology”, he said. “With utilisation of these resources a new bridge can be created with the national industrial sector and in this case he added” (PTI)
