UBI Bank inaugurated at Shallang

 NONGSTOIN: A branch of the United Bank of India (UBI) was inaugurated at Shallang, one of the biggest commercial hubs of the State, on Tuesday.

The Chairman-cum-managing Director of UBI, Bhaskar Sen, G P Sharma, Deputy General Manager Guwahati region and other senior officials of the bank attended the function.

S Kharlyngdoh, Deputy Commissioner West Khasi Hills, K S Nongbri, Deputy Secretary Finance Department and E F Lamare, Under Secretary Finance Dept. and R Muthu, IPS Superintendent of Police WKHD attended the Inaugural function on behalf of the Government.
