SHILLONG: One Lalu Yadav (43) was arrested by police on Thursday evening after 14 domestic cylinders and 37 commercial cylinders along with 15 consumer cards were seized from his residence-cum-godown located at Laitumkhrah Main Road.The items were seized during a raid conducted by officials of the directorate of Supply along with the Police of Laitumkhrah PS on Thursday night.
Superintendent of police (city) M Kharkrang informed that the apprehended person has been arrested under Essential Commodities Act.
