SHILLONG: A motor bike affixed with High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) was stolen by miscreants in the city on Sunday morning.

The motor bike (Pulsar 150cc red colour) bearing the HSRP (ML05-J-4505) was stolen from Jellishop Nongthymmai here.

Police are yet to trace the stolen motorbike.

Recently, the FKJGP along with the Meghalaya Automobile Accessories Association (MAAA) had opposed the State Government’s decision to make HSRP mandatory while questioning the security assurance guaranteed by such number plates.
