3 women held for creating nuisance

Shillong: Police on Tuesday night apprehended three women from Kachari Road near Shillong Club for creating nuisance by throwing beer bottles on the road, Deputy Superintendent of Police (City) Sherry Shadap has informed. He also informed that the women had claimed to be residents of Mawlai Iewrynghep and Wahingdoh.

A medical examination was conducted on the three women after which doctors confirmed that they were intoxicated. The three women and the vehicle (unregistered Maruti car) they were travelling on have been detained at the Sardar Traffic Branch.
