Noimur Rahman, a student of St. Edmund’s College, secured First class Third position in the final year B.Sc Examination (Chemistry). He is the son of (L) Nuruzzaman Miah and Nureza Begum, hailing from Mahendraganj, West Garo Hills.
Babita Joshi, daughter of EM Prasad Joshi and Sabitri Joshi, student of St Anthony’s College was ranked 1st with 87 percent on the final BSc final results declared recently.
Andrew W Warjri has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy on his thesis “Personality Traits and Achievement Motivation of Secondary School Students from Matrilineal and Patriachal Societies in East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya”, from NEHU, under the guidance of Prof.S.M.Sungoh. He is the son of Mr.W T Marwein and Mrs M D Warjri.
