Several injured in accident-related cases in the city

SHILLONG: A driver of a Jeep (MLO5A-6581) moving towards Myriaw sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a passenger bus coming from the opposite direction near Sunny Side at 4th Mile, Upper Shillong on Monday. The 108 ESA based at Civil Hospital, Shillong admitted Restowell Rngaid to the Shillong Civil Hospital.

11-month-old Mebantei Nongbri sustained injuries when his mother, who was carrying him, was hit by a motorbike while she was walking on the roadside at 4th Furlong on Monday. The 108 ESA based at Lawmali admitted her and the baby to Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong.

Two pillion riders sustained injuries when the scooter (MLO5B-3657) they were travelling on was hit by another vehicle near the MeECL gate at Lum Jingshai on Sunday night. The 108 ESA based at Lawmali admitted Baldrick Malniang and Iaimon Malniang to Shillong Civil Hospital.
