State employees directed to attend offices today

 SHILLONG: In view of Friday’s office picketing called by the People’s Movement, employees of various departments of the State Government have been directed to attend their offices normally.

East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal, while issuing the directive, said, “All the magistrates have been instructed to ensure that no untoward incident takes place during the picketing.”

“All precautions will be taken to ensure that law and order is maintained,” he said.
