Major portion of its collection has come from multiplexes as it had limited release in single screens.

Cocktail did not have big growth on Sunday. According to trade experts, its business has grown by 15% to 20% on the third day. As per the early trends, the movie has added Rs 13 crores nett to its first weekend total Rs 39 crores nett.

With this, the film has failed to beat the opening weekend record of last week’s release Bol Bachchan, which had raked in Rs 43.10 crore in three days.

Cocktail has raked in Rs 2.51 crores (£2,95,822) from 73 screens at the UK Box Office in its opening weekend. Whereas, Bol Bachchan has collected Rs 55.57 lakhs (£64,571) from 39 screens in the country taking its ten days collection to Rs 2.85 crores (£3,34,835).

Its business seems to have been affected by Cocktail and Tamil movie Billa 2, which has grossed Rs 61.20 lakhs (£72,120) from 20 screens in the country. (Agencies)
