BSF apprehend Bangladeshis

 Shillong: The BSF apprehended two Bangladeshi miscreants, Mohammed Noor Alam (18) and Abdul Kasim (32) from two different places on Monday while they were trying to infiltrate into India. Alam was nabbed at Dangar village in East Khasi Hills while Kasim was apprehended from Jaintia Hills.

The BSF party recovered two mobile phones, four Bangladeshi simcards from Alam while one mobile along with BD simcard was found with Kasim.

The apprehended persons are being interrogated.

Meanwhile, on the same day, BSF seized 1kg of hemp worth around Rs 3000 from West Khasi Hills while it was being smuggled into Bangladesh. Apprehended persons and seized items have been handed over to the concerned department for further disposal and legal action as per the law of the land.
