Shillong: The Meghalaya Information Technology Society (MITS), Society under the Information Technology Dept, Govtt of Meghalaya has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aptech Arena Animation on August 1 at Shillong to provide Multimedia Education to the youth of the State.
The MoU was signed by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Information Technology Department D. P. Wahlang on behalf of the State Government and S. H. Mawlong, Center Head, Aptech Arena Animation, Shillong on behalf of Aptech Arena Animation.
According to the MoU, the Government will sponsor 100 youths by investing `35,200/- on each student to take the training for a 6 months course and Aptech Arena Animation will provide and Instructor-Led-Training (ILT) to students on Multimedia, Animation, Graphics and Web Designing.
