Science quiz competition

All India Radio, Shillong in collaboration with the SCSTE organized a science quiz competition for class IX and X students at Anton Hall on Thursday.Eight schools took part in the competition.

 District Inauguration

 New office bearers

The Khliehriat Assembly Youth Congress has elected its new office bearers which included Iasyllokki Lyngdoh as the president, Deibormi Syad as the vice president, Hamris Pakem as the general secretary among other members.

 Training Programme

The first batch of Pilot project on Employment-linked Vocational training programme, an initiative of BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA), New Delhi in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and its corporate partners has successfully completed the course.

 Science Exhibition

Around 100 students from various schools of East Khasi Hills participated in a District Level Science Exhibition organised by the office of the District School Education Officer East Khasi Hills at Laitumkhrah Presbyterian Higher Secondary School here on Thursday.

 MoU signed

Meghalaya Information Technology Society (MITS) on Wednesday signed an MoU with Basix Academy for building life long employability Limited (B-ABLE) .As per the agreement, B-ABLE will provide and deliver through instructor -Led-Training for upto eight hundred participants the Microsoft Digital Literacy Standard Curriculum for the citizens of the state.
