Medical seminar
The Border Security Force (BSF), Meghalaya Frontier, organised a medical seminar cum CME (Continuing Medical Education) on Monday. Eminent doctors from various medical Institutions deliberated and discussed the latest developments in the field of medical science. Dr Amit Malviya, Cardiologist from NEIGRIHMS presented an exhaustive lecture on heart diseases and shared his experiences with the visiting delegates. The event was inaugurated by Sudesh Kumar, IG, BSF (Meghalaya Frontier).
Exhibition
BK Bajoria School, Shillong is organising a Science Exhibition on August 10 from 10 am to 2 am at the School Auditorium. The exhibition will be inaugurated by East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal.
Bedeinkhlam
The Sein Raij Ialong will celebrate the annual Behdeinkhlam festival on August 10 at Pyrda (Aitnar) – the sacred pool – located within the Ialong Park. Sein Raij Ialong secretary Niam, B Mulieh, informed that the Sein Raij Ialong has already started the celebration since Saturday with various rituals performed by the Langdoh or the priest along with other religious elders.
