have topped Forbes

magazine’s list of world’s highest paid celebrity couple with a combined annual income of USD 78 million. The runners-up last year in the list, the couple has climbed up to the top spot this year. The singer, who gave a birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter 2011, had earned USD 40 million between May 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012. Jay-Z isn’t far behind his wife. He made millions from Watch the Throne, his musical collaboration with Kanye West, and from the tour that followed. Jay-Z added to his income by a number of non-musical enterprises. He brought home USD 38 million in 12 months.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her sportsman husband Tom Brady have slipped to the second spot with an annual earning of USD 72 million. The 32-year-old supermodel made USD 45 million with her modeling gigs, endorsement deals and independent licensing ventures while Brady made USD 27 million.

Third on the list are David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. The footballer, who re-signed with the Los Angeles Galaxy for another two years, made about USD 46 million a year. His fashionista wife Victoria had a success with her clothing range. The couple’s total earnings are USD 54 million.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, came in fourth on the list, with a combined USD 45 million annual income. Pitt earned about USD 25 million while Jolie cashed in some USD 20 million.

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith earned USD 30 million between May 2011 to May 2012. (PTI)
