JOWAI: The District Magistrate, West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai has declared August 15 as a Dry Day throughout the District on account of Independence Day. All IMFL licensed premises (wholesale and retail), Bars, Canteens, Country Spirit shops including Out still shall remained closed on the said date.
