4 more accident victims identified

Shillong: Twenty-nine of the 30 victims of the recent bus tragedy in East Jaintia Hills district have been identified, with 25 of them despatched to their home states, official sources said on Tuesday.

East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner A Bhagotia informed that the authorities were left with only one unidentified body which was being kept at the NEIGRIHMS morgue. “We will wait for a day or two before taking a final call on the last body,” Bhagotia said. (PTI)
