Office inaugurated
The Nongkrem Assembly Youth Congress office was inaugurated on Tuesday by the president of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee Gabriel Wahlang in presence of other youth members.
Alumni Day
A special function to observe the Shillong College Alumni Day would be held at the college premises on Saturday at 11 am. Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh would grace the occasion as the chief guest while former Minister RG Lyngdoh will be the guest of honour. The Shillong College Alumni Association has requested all the past pupils not to miss this special day of the ex-students of the college.
Unclaimed body
One, Steven Ashoma (43), resident of Hotel Garikhana was admitted in the Shillong Civil hospital on August 5 and died on August 14. Relatives are requested to collect the body from the hospital within three days failing of which the body will be send for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
