While the artists and photo journalists of Tripura demanded a national platform for exhibition, the young students urged the state government to set up an exclusive photography school considering the potential of the state.
Having impressed with the creativity of lens, as many as 500 young students assembled at the art gallery in Agartala City Centre soon after the opening of the five-day exhibition – Sculpted by Nature – of leading photo journalist of Northeast Bapi Roy Choudhury by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar last evening.
Dead wood spread across Tripura, weathered by the bouncing spring, has come to life through the creative lens and masterstroke of Mr Roy Choudhury, said Sawan Biswas, a student of Physics in Tripura University.
