MPCC condoles Pohrmen’s demise

 SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Sunday condoled the death of former Deputy Chief Minister and a senior member of the Party, John Deng Pohrmen.

“John Deng had served the state in various capacities and positions and his contribution as well as his commitment to the welfare of the people will long be remembered,” the MPCC said in a statement.

“As a party man he was committed to the ethos and ideals of the Congress Party and always upheld its ideology and principles. A stalwart with tremendous experience in political affairs has passed away and the MPCC mourns this deep loss,” the statement added.
