Association formed
A new state level association was formed recently known as Meghalaya Folk Art Association with N Sangma as the vice chairperson, R Kurkalung as the secretary besides others.
School debate
The Youth Hostels Association of India, Meghalaya Branch will organise the inter school debate on Friday at 1:30 PM in the premises of the youth hostel on the affect of implementation of the railway line in the state. Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills Sanjay Goyal and Speaker Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Charles Pyngrope will be present on the occasion.
