KSU felicitates 24 meritorious students

 NONGPOH: In bid to instill the spirit of competitiveness among the students in Ri Bhoi District, the Khasi Students Union North East Khasi Hills District on Friday felicitated 24 meritorious students with Mait Shaphrang Award at Sajer Community Hall, Nongpoh.

The awards were presented to the students who have passed SSLC/HSSLC/Graduation respectively, by former KSU Central Body president Samuel B Jyrwa and KSU Central Body president Daniel Khyriem.

Among the felicitated students included Angella Mary Wahlang of MeECL SS, Kyrdem Kulai who attained 84.50 percent in SSLC while Tennyson Rynghang from Christian Academy who secured 68.6 in HSSLC while Bernard Nongpoh for passing Engineering M. Tech in InformationTechnology from Tezpur University, Assam.

Others who attended the programme included Joe Marbaniang, Central Body Environmental Secretary, Ruddy Lyngdoh Tron among others.
