Journalists’ meet

As a follow up to the meeting held on August 27, where working journalists resolved to constitute the All Meghalaya Journalists Union (AMJU), a meeting will be convened on Monday at 1:00 PM at the Shillong Press Club.

 Bus service

The Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) would resume its bus services for Tura-Baghmara and Tura-Williamnagar with effect from September 5. The schedule timing and fare may be verified from the MTC, Tura depot.

 Demonstration

In protest to the failure of the Govt to comply with their various demands, the All Meghalaya Primary School Teachers Association (AMPSTA) and Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA) would hold a black flag demonstration at State Central Library premises on September 5 from 10 am to 3 pm.
