Shillong: The Chief Advisor to the State Government and local MLA, DD Lapang on Wednesday handed over a work order of Rs 4 lakh to the president of the Managing committee of Pahamrioh Them LP School, Ri Bhoi in a formal gathering held at Pahamrioh Them Dorbar Hall.
Lapang informed that the scheme was drawn by local MDC Dr C Lyngdoh for the extension of school building from the 13th Finance Commission 2011-2012 in order to give more space to children to study in the school.
He also urged the managing committee to fully utilize the fund for the purpose it was allotted for.
