Actress Milla

Jovovich refused to

pretend shooting zombies at a Japanese movie theatre as a promotional stunt for her new film “Resident Evil: Retribution”.

Jovovich says she shut down requests from film bosses to create hype for her upcoming thriller by showing up at a Japanese premiere and pretending to shoot fake zombies following Colorado’s cinema massacre, Contactmusic reported.

In July, twelve people were killed and 58 others injured when a man named James Holmes opened fire in a packed Aurora movie theatre during a midnight showing of Batman movie “The Dark Knight Rises”.

“They asked me to come out and shoot zombies in the theatre. And I was like, ‘There’s absolutely no way I’m doing anything violent in a movie theatre’,” she said. (PTI)
