DSME programme concludes at IIM

SHILLONG: A colourful ceremony marked the successful completion of the second edition of the Developing Managerial Skills for Entrepreneurship (DMSE) programme, funded by the Ministry of DoNER, at the IIM, Shillong recently.

Mawprem legislator Manas Chaudhuri and Prof Keya Sengupta, Director, IIM Shillong graced the programme.

Toni, a student from Manipur, on behalf of all the participants, thanked the institute for giving them the confidence to create jobs rather than to seek jobs in the North East and contribute to the development of the region that has an abundance of resources.

Prof Sengupta encouraged the students to be independent and contribute to the development of self, region and the country.

The Mawprem legislator stressed on the fact that in order to prosper the people of North East needed to aspire for more and to take care of their own destinies.

He encouraged the students to rise above their egos and imbibe in themselves a sense of humility.
