said to be smitten by

“Twilight” star Kristen Stewart and he wants to take her out on a date.

At the Toronto Film Festival, the “127 Hours” star tried to set up a dinner date with Stewart but he was shot down, reported Radar Online.

“Kristen and James bumped into each other at the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto during the film festival and were engaged in conversation for 20 minutes. “There was a lot of flirting and Kristen was overjoyed by the attention she was getting from James, who was gushing over her, saying what a great actress he thinks she is and was full of praise for her latest movie, ‘On the Road’,” a source said.

After their brief conversation Franco tried to set up a date with the 22-year-old but she said no.

Stewart was seen at the festival for the first time since her cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders came into light.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson reportedly wants a professional relationship with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart. However, he is still refusing to discuss the 22-year-old brunette beauty in interviews and wants to keep all press relevant to the film. (PTI)
