General meeting

The Meghalaya Pensioner’s Association, Shillong will hold a meeting its members from Jaiaw, Raitsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Mission Compound, Qualapatty, Lumdiengjri and Sunny Hill at Jaiaw Presbyterian Secondary School at Jaiaw Pdeng on September 29 from 1pm to 4pm .

Autumn Fest

The Apex Board, Rilbong in collaboration with NEEPCO will organise an Autumn Festival at Rilbong Community Hall from September 23. The festival will include various programmes like singing, dancing, and recitation besides others.

Golden Jubilee

The Department of Geography, St. Edmund’s College is celebrating the Golden Jubilee Celebration on Saturday at the College auditorium at 1 PM. BS Kharmawphlang, IFS Conservator of Forest (Central), Ministry of Forest and Environment, Government of Meghalaya will be the chief guest.

Resigned

FA Roy has tendered his resignation from the post of organizer, UDP Mylliem block and also from the primary partnership of the party on personal grounds. He submitted his resignation letter on August 28.

ID proof

The Deputy Secretary to the State Government, SAD has informed that visitors who seek entry into Meghalaya (Civil) Secretariat should produce ID cards like EPIC and other legal documents as proof of their identity credibility.

Awareness camp

The N.O.W Eco-Club of Department of Environment Science, St. Edmund’s College along with SCSTE will organize a technology awareness camp on Saturday at 12 pm in college audio visual room.
