Unclaimed bodies

One unidentified male (35), suspected to be a non-tribal, dark complexion was recovered from Umiam roadside lying unconscious. He was later shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong and on Friday, the person was declared dead. The body is lying in the hospital morgue and awaiting relatives to identify the same. One Pittora Bora (38/male) was admitted in Shillong Civil Hospital on August 28 and later died on September 12.
