Demand for separate state in GNC manifesto

TURA: The Garo National Council, Central Executive Committee held a meeting recently in which the party discussed matters pertaining to the forthcoming Assembly election in the State.

At the meeting, the party resolved to include the demand for creation of a separate state for Garo Hills in their election manifesto.

The GNC has asked aspirant candidates to collect application forms for tickets from the GNC Head Office at Araimile, Tura from the last week of September and submit the forms by November last.
