Rajiv Mehta new NCB chief

New Delhi: Senior IPS officer Rajiv Mehta has been appointed as the new chief of the central anti-drugs agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Mehta, a 1981-batch police officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, will serve the agency as its Director General till 2016, a Home Ministry statement said.

At present, he is serving as the Additional DG (Law and Order) in Meghalaya. (PTI)
