Action star Arnold

Schwarzenegger

has promised his fans to reveal the unknown elements of his life in a memoir, which hits stands on October 1.

The Terminator star’s 25-year-old marriage to Maria Shriver crumbled last year after revelations that he fathered a child with the family’s former housekeeper.

But it is not clear whether Schwarzenegger will approach the topic in his book. Titled “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story”, the book will trace the star’s rise from a body builder in Austria to action movie star to California’s governor. Like a true movie star, Schwarzenegger has released a trailer to drum up excitement for the book, the Hollywood Reporter said.

“If my life was a movie, no one would believe it. The directions I’ve chosen, the careers I have conquered. I started out as a bodybuilder from Austria, and became the strongest, most muscular man in the world. “But, I had bigger dreams. I wanted to be in movies. I came to Hollywood, and within a decade, I was one of the biggest action stars of all time. Then I took the greatest gamble of my life,” Schwarzenegger says in the trailer.

The actor further recounts his achievements, saying, “I went into politics. I became governor of one of the largest economies in the world. I went from being The Terminator to being The Governator.

But this story you know. So are you ready for the story you don’t?” The memoir was announced a year ago by Simon & Schuster. (PTI)
