SHILLONG: CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing on Friday filed an RTI seeking copies of all documents and maps submitted to the Assam Government relating to the 12 areas of differences between the two states.

The State Government has provided geospatial data of the ‘disputed’ territories to Assam to help the neighbouring state to pin point the areas of differences since names of the villages vary in Assam and Meghalaya.

The 12 areas of differences include Upper Tarabari, Gizang Reserve Forest, Hahim, Langpih, Borduar, Boklapara, Nongwah-Matamur, Khanapara-Pillangkata, Deshdemoreah, Block I and Block II, Khanduli-Psiar and Ratacherra.
