Three bodies, skeleton found in Guwahati

Guwahati: In successive incidents in Assam’s main city Guwahati, three bodies and a skeleton were recovered from different locations on Wednesday.

The body of a person was found floating on the Bharalu river that passes through the city. Hailing from Barpeta and employed at a private company here, blood spots were found on the mouth of the deceased, indicating possibility of murder.

A woman’s body was found on an overbridge. The cause of death or identity of the deceased was not known yet.

The third body was found near railway tracks in Maligaon area of the city. The deceased has been identified as a student of a premier college here and a suicide note was also recovered from him.

In another incident, a human skeleton was recovered buried under a tree atop the Narakasur hill in the city. (UNI)
