New Delhi: India were held to a goalless draw by Bangladesh in their last match of the Under-14 SAARC tournament in Shizuka, Japan, on Friday.

India dominated right from the kick-off and stretched the game to the flanks where Bedeshwor and Zonunmawia further frustrated the rival defence.

Bedashwor came close to scoring, but his shot from inside the box narrowly missed the target.

India finished second on eight points, while a local team topped the Group with 10 points.

The head coach and assistant both praised the boys for their performance in the tournament. (PTI)
