Annual revival crusade uplifts thousands

 NONGSTOIN: The Jingiaseng Samla KJP Synod Sepngei organized the annual Revival Crusade here in Nongpyndeng started from October 12. Thousands of believers came to the Revival Crusade from all over the KJP Synod Sepngi to listen to the word of God.

In the first service, Darren Brown from Australia enthused the gathering with gospel songs followed by choirs of the Jingiaseng samla Lawkynter, Jingiaseng samla Nongum and the Jingiaseng samla Sohiong.

Rev Bill Newman gave the sermon on the occasion. Rev Newman is an associate of Evangelist Billy Graham Ministry and Rev. Dr. M.J.Hynniewta Principal of the John Rober Theological College was an interpreter in both the occasion.

In the sermon, the Rev spoke about the aspects of living a happy married life. He stressed that revivalism should begin at home and that the word of God should be spread among fellow beings.

He said he was saddened by corruption and mentioned that right from the days of the bible, corruption existed and so did a cure.

In the Second service, Rev S Wellington from Children’s Home presented gospel songs followed by the choir from Jingiaseng samla Nongpyndeng, the KJP Synod Sepngi Standing Choir and Darren Brown of Australia.
