Wine festival
The 10th Shillong Wine Festival will be held in Shillong on November 10 from 12 noon onwards. Home wine makers from other states of the North East have been invited to participate in the event.
Prize distribution
Sarada Mahila Samity (SMS), Shillong distributed prizes to the winners of an Art Competition and Matri Sangeet Competition which was held on October 2 and 6, respectively at Hotath Colony Community Hall on Saturday. The Art Competition was participated by 234 candidates whereas 38 candidates participated in the Matri Sangeet Competition. On the occasion 26 women were also provided with blankets as per the annual distribution of relief materials.
