SHILLONG: The Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Conrad Sangma has urged the State government to sanction money for repair of more than hundred faulty transformers in the entire Garo Hills. In a letter to the State Chief Secretary WMS Pariat, Sangma said there were as many as 150 transformers in Garo Hills that were remained dysfunctional for the last eight months.
