Family, B-town celebs attend

Several Bollywood celebrities turned up for

a post wedding party of star couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor here this evening to wish the couple.

The party at Taj Mahal hotel in south Mumbai followed a registered marriage of the couple at Saif’s residence this afternoon.

Family members from Kareena’s side including her father Randhir Kapoor, mother Babita, sister Karisma Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor with wife Neetu Singh and their son Ranbir Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor attended the bash.

Saif sister Soha Ali Khan and his daughter Saara and son Ibrahim from his first marriage were also seen. A host of B town celebrities like Priety Zinta, Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan’s wife Gauri, Karan Johar, Salman Khan’s sister Alvira, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, R Balki and Gauri Shinde took part in the celebrations

Though there was speculation that the couple had a ‘nikah’ ceremony in the hotel but it could not be confirmed. Kareena wore a green salwar teamed up with red duppata and Saif entered the hotel clad in grey colour kurta with an off white pyjama this afternoon at around 3.30-4 PM.

Son of former cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore entered wedlock with Kareena, great grand daughter of Prithviraj Kapoor after a five-year courtship.

Malhotra has designed Kareena’s other outfits too, apart from clothes for sister Karisma, which they will wear at various wedding functions. (PTI)
