BSF apprehends one

 SHILLONG: The BSF troops of border outpost at Nokchi in West Garo Hills apprehended a Bangladeshi national identified as Md Abdul Salam (55) hailing from Sherpur, in Bangladesh and one Indian, and recovered 100 grams of Ganja from their possession, while they were trying to cross over to Bangladesh from India.

The Indian accomplice, identified as Abdul Munab (57) hails from Dhubri in Assam and he facilitated the cross border movement in lieu of money. During the search, the BSF seized ganja, Indian Currency amounting to Rs 2557, two cell phones worth Rs 5500, 3 SIM cards, Bangladesh Taka of Rs 1500.
