NONGPOH: The Ri-Bhoi Youth Developmental & Social Organization (RBYDSO) on Monday threatened to organise agitation programme in Ri-Bhoi district if their demand for creation of an MDC constituency at Umsning was not fulfilled by the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC).

RBYDSO president Dibison Malai informed that the organization will discuss the matter on November 7 with the CEM of KHADC along with all the MDCs.

He also informed that the discussion will be attended by all the local headmen of Umsning constituency and leaders and members of RBYDSO.

“If the KHADC led by PN Syiem as the CEM cannot fulfill our demand the RBYDSO will not hesitate to organise agitation programme that will be announced on the same day,” Malai said.
