ULFA linkman, immigrants held

SHILLONG: The BSF on Wednesday apprehended a Bangladeshi ULFA linkman in South Garo Hills while he was trying to infiltrate into India. He has been identified as Allauddin (22). During questioning, he revealed that he has been facilitating cross border movement of ULFA cadres and he himself has crossed the border several times.

Meanwhile, BSF troops in Nokchi, West Garo Hills apprehended two Bangladeshi immigrants while they were trying to infiltrate into India. The duo has been identified as Utpal Koch (19) and Janoraj Koch (18). In another incident, BSF troops in Gasuapara, South Garo Hills apprehended two Bangladeshi illegal immigrants identified as Thansur Ch Marak (16) and Md. Sabbir (23).
