Shillong: Primary school teachers under the banner of Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA)on Thursday staged a demonstration near Raj Bhavan. The teachers demonstrated against the alleged failure of the government to fulfill its commitment made in July on increasing salaries. A delegation of the MUPSTA later met Chief Secretary W M S Pariat.
