Shillong: After interrogation, the Ri Bhoi police on Tuesday have revealed that the minor boy, Pynshai Lyngdoh Nonglait (11/12 yrs) who claimed that he was allegedly thrown out of a night super bus (WB-73A-9392), actually fell from the bus at GS Road, Quinine Ri-Bhoi on Sunday night. The boy who had earlier claimed that he was from Shillong had admitted that he is originally from West Khasi Hills and has been working and living in Shillong at one tea-stall at Iewduh, police informed adding that the boy is still in the hospital with minor injuries and his family members has already been informed about the accident. Police has also admitted that since there are no child welfare organizations in Ri Bhoi District, it was not advisable to take the boy with them to the police station. So he is still kept in the hospital for one or two more days.
