Cement truck set on fire

JOWAI: Unknown miscreants set a cement-loaded truck on fire during the wee hours on Saturday in East Jaintia Hills District.

Sources informed that, at around 1:30am, unknown miscreants set the truck NL01G-8110 on fire as a result, the truck has completely damaged.

There was no reports of anyone injured in the incident.

The trucks belong to North-East Carrier Private Limited and proceeding from CMCL (Star Cement), Lumshnong to Guwahati, but on reaching a place near HP Petrol Pump, Deinchynrum, East Jaintia Hills District, some unknown miscreants set the truck ablaze. Miscreants are yet to be found.
