GLIMPSES OF AN IMPROVING SCENARIO

The Umiam Bridge is showing signs of improvement after the much needed facelift has become a reality.

An earlier picture shows a person attempting to clear the water logged bridge over Umiam Lake. Due to the pathetic road conditions on this stretch, vehiculer movement was affected for many months especially during rain.
