India win in U-21 hockey

New Delhi: India beat Germany 3-1 in their second league game of the U-21 Sultan of Johar Cup hockey in Johar Baru in Malaysia on on Monday.

India got off to a brilliant start when forward Mandeep Singh picked up two quick goals in the seventh and the eighth minutes.

India scored again in the 42nd minute through Talwinder Singh. (IANS)
