JOWAI: Ladrymbai Police in East Jaintia hills District arrested one person who had allegedly raped his 15-year-old daughter on Monday.
Police arrested the accused after receiving a complaint from the mother of the victim.
Sources informed that the man identified as Chos Pale (37), a resident of Ladrymbai, took his daughter to a deserted place called ‘Thadladaw’ along the Khliehriat-Rymbai Road via Khliehriat DC Office and raped her inside his vehicle.
“The incident took place at around 3 pm on Monday,” sources said.
